Jalynn Steele, age 58 of Santaquin, passed away October 4, 2014. He played on the first Santaquin Little League baseball team and then on the Blue Sox, coached by his Dad. He was preceded in death by: a son, Roland Duane Roper; siblings, Glenn Roper and Dona Robbins. One of her biggest joys was playing bingo. She was preceded in death by her parents; her mother-in-law, Loretta Shugart Earley Taylor; twin children, Sherry Ann and Carrie Lynn. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Payson City Cemetery with Military Rites accorded by the American Legion, Dist. They were married on September 10, 1965 in the St. George Temple and were blessed with seven children. The highlight of her life was watching and supporting her children and grandchildren in all of their various activities, especially their sporting events. Juan enjoyed cooking and trying out new foods and recipes. Bonnie will not be forgotten. John had the opportunity to love and be loved by an additional mother, Willa McLatchy, for the past year. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and siblings: Glen Willey, and Alice Robertson. On April 8, 2023, at 2 p.m., at age 92, Richard Leroy Beeston left his mortal existence and entered an eternal realm, where we believe he was greeted by loved ones in a joyful reunion. She was extremely positive and supportive as she cheered on on her children, grand children and great grandchildren as they explored their potential.
